To my Operations Department family

To the family who accepted me for almost two years
I remember that day when I first entered your office,  I remembered how frightened I am knowing the fact that I know nothing with the nature of business you have but as the days and months passed by I got to know you all as well as know how to work.
I’ll never thought that I’ll be jumping from education to your world of construction.  Before entering to your world,  I was a complete mess. I tried job hunting but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.  I had a lot of sleepless nights, self pity moments and breakdowns that left me and my dreams out of nowhere .  I remember how I promised myself that in Dec 17,2014  I’ll be celebrating my birthday with my work mates, and guess what it came true! Opportunity just came so I grabbed it and yes I came to work with you people.

For almost two years of ups and downs, Success and failures,  I have found a family that I could run to. But as of now a lot of problems arises, a lot of things changed. I was left with no choice but to leave you all.
I am thankful to all of you for accepting me from the way I work, from my childish attitude,  for listening to my awful singing voice and even the way I dress up. Forgive me If sometimes I messed up with the tasks you’ve assigned me (I really tried my best!).

To Sir Larry : Couldn’t thank you enough for accepting me to be part of your team. You have been a great manager to us and we are grateful to have you.

To Chong: thanks for understanding my craziness and kaartehan.  I owe you a lot (and I mean a LOT) .  I’ll be forever grateful to you for standing up for me whenever I couldn’t do it for myself. You deserve a lot good things and I ‘ll be praying for your success so you can handle more assistants like me (charot!)
To Mam Agnes &  Mam Cora: Thank you for your life and work advices and also I’ll never forget our movie nights and Friday night outs.
To Robertoo : Hahaha! I’ll definitely miss your speakers. (chos!). I really appreciate you for riding with my paandar in life as well as those short chitchat we have on the bus. Maybe one day I’ll  consider hiking too.
Kella : please take good care of my Dad Misael, Chong and his files. I know you’re in good hands right now. I ‘ll never forget our shopping bonding and Saturdays waiting for our sahod to come.  PS: don’t get too grumpy #teamjovitforever
Twenny Jenny: Where’s my Starbucks and Lacoste shirt? Haha!  See you at trinoma soon!
To Sir Rico : please stop smoking na!
To Geronimo : Gym pa more!!
To Dad Misael : you are my forever favorite Engineer! Thanks for all the merienda.  Love you!

And to the people who became a part of my stay,  thank you!
PS: sorry if I left you all without saying goodbye last Saturday ,  I’m just not good with farewells.
Wish me luck!

Change The Way You See Beauty

We live in a world where everything seems to be a beauty pageant.   Girls aim for that hot beach body, beautiful clothes and the perfect Kardashian sculpted face.  It's saddening to know that the society has established their own standards of beauty.

We can't deny how a lot of people were being bashed and rejected  based from their size, height, color and appearance without being given the chance to show what they've got.  As a result we keep changing our selves into someone we don’t really know.  Girls try to mask themselves with tons of makeup while some are starving themselves just to be able to look skinny. We are all born with differences but I bet you you are beautiful in your own way.

If you have seen me in person, you’ll see my scarred face due to breakouts, unmanageable hair and my super petite body.
But I learned to love myself, embrace whatever I have no matter how many times people would tease me for my height and breakouts.

The meaning of beauty is not being perfect.
Beauty is something that makes a person glow despite all the flaws of what our naked eye can see.  It isn't a game of face values or who has the better genes
It isn't about the color  of your race, vital statistics or your skinny body.

Beauty is something that comes from deep within.  Remember how the Mighty one  created beauty out of ashes and darkness so who are we to give standards? It's ourselves who should start seeing our own beauty then the rest will follow.

Let's change the way we see beauty.  No standards,  no judgments,  just pure appreciation of what is around us and just like beauty  let’s

Shemhaii by the Seashore of Matabungkay

You know how I desperately wanted to be at the beach and now my summer adventure begins.
I started the month May at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center and now my second weekend at the seashore of Matabungkay

We had a quick getaway with the whole department yet during that day I am in the middle of Vacation and Work since I still have a task that has to be submitted but that doesn't spoil the fun.

In the middle of work and Vacation
We stayed at Matabungkay Beach Hotel and Resort.  We arrived late at night and stayed at their conference room since we still have a program and activities prepared by the committee and slept late at night since Night Swimming at their pool is not allowed

In the Morning, We are able to explore the resort and I am amazed by its beauty. From their rustic wooden lobby to the restaurant, Relaxing pools and the serene beauty of the sea.
Mornings like this should be spent at its fullest since not everyday you'll be waking up to this kind of place. With only a few hours left before our check out time, We made sure that time at Matabungkay won't be wasted.

So after Breakfast, We Immediately suit up  and strolled the beige sands of Matabungkay. We didn't expected much with the beach but who cares? a beach will always be a place for wandering souls and mermaid wannabe

More Snaps of Our trip here:

Definitely a time well spent!

Now Back to Work!!
