Dress to Impress

Meeting new people is fun, but there's always that one thing that bothers me most of the time. There's a question at the back of my head saying "Did I even gave them a good impression? or am I even worthy of their time?"
In our life we meet a lot of people who sees us in a different way. Some people Stay, while some Go.
So might as well let those people have a good impression on you simply on the way you dress up.

Being a girl with lots of insecurities, I'd make sure I have ways of keeping my thoughts away from the negative things and one of them is dressing up.

Whenever I dress up to my mood, I feel a boost of confidence that somehow conceals those negative thoughts. I feel like I could do anything under the sun with the right pieces.

I want people whom I'll meet remember me, I want to give them a mark that tells them that I am worth knowing and meeting, but if not, Let my clothes do the talking.

If they can't remember you, let your clothes leave them a mark, Dress up and Impress them with your creative statements
Let the world be our runway and make those people break their necks as you come and pass by their lives

\\

Go girl, Dress up!

Forever 21 at Philippine Fashion Week

Philippine Fashion Week is one of the events I always look forward to attend but the problem is How to get those precious invites? Luckily I've been seeing a lot of bloggers giving away some invites for this show and thankfully I've won. Thank you again Ms. Jackie Go!
The show was scheduled on October 24, 6:30pm at SMX Convention Center Hall 4. I, together with my cousin Cyril arrived just on-time to get our tickets and fall in line to get the best seats as much as possible. While waiting, I was approached by someone from StyleBible.com asking if they could take a photo of my outfit and I did pose.
As we enter the the the hall, There are pop-up stores from the brands that are presenting that night. The good thing about this is that clothes from the runway could be actually yours even before the show.
So here are some photos during the show

These little cuties charmed the audience with their cute smile and style

I love their new collection. From Brit Street,New Boho, University Chic and the modern monochrome pieces. Every collection caters different type of personality which is why everyone loves this brand.

These clothes and shoes makes me want to bring them all and fit them to my closet.
It was fun  watching the whole show and seeing a lot of people who shares the same passion as you are. Hoping to watch more shows from PhFW!

Shopping Wishlist: Forever 21

Hello there! I'm sharing you again some of my wishlist for one of my favorite brand but sadly, I haven't owned any piece of clothing from their store (sobs!)
I've been checking out their stores whenever I see one and there was this one time when I am saving a Sodexo Gift Certificate  for their monthly Sale but unfortunately I have to prioritize  buying books and reviewers before clothes.

What am I Talking about? Obviously, It's FOREVER 21!
Everytime you enter their stores, My Heart beats faster and my pupils dilate. I'm like a child being left on playground with lots of colorful things and lots of girls like me!
Forever 21 caters fashion for all, From Kids,Boys,Girls, Ladies and Men.
This October, I joined some of my favorite bloggers on their Giveaway and because of my eagerness to win even just ONE(and I pray), I joined 10x (10 entries) and here's some of my personal picks and Wants:
"Into the Wild"
I <3 USA
"Parisian Belle"
"Badass Street hip"
"Posh"
"Smart and Preppy"
"The Little Black Dress"
 "Just like Martine"
 "Lazy day"

Each style I created has different stories, personality and inspirations. From adventurous to laid back, comfy or whatever just came into my mind I showed it through my style pegs. I wanted to create a statement through clothing without being over the top. From basic staples now comes a stylish ensemble for different personalities.

So do you like my entries and picks?

SMART Making MEGA in South Africa

When I watched Making Mega at South America with Anne Curtis on the cover last year, I felt excited for their next trip and now as Mega launched their Making Mega at South Africa I have this thing on my mind telling me "YOU HAVE TO BUY THE MAGAZINE!"

I felt sad when I wasn't able to get one of the 436 invitation giveaway of Making MEGA in SouthAfrica The Big Fashion Issue Launch  last September 4, 2014 (because Duh!!! It's MEGA,Every woman who loves fashion knows it and would want to be a part of it) but after watching the making of the magazine for the September Issue, It left a smile on my face, I saw the dedication and hard work of the team to finish their work on time and at its best.

With the four biggest names in the showbiz industry: Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Barretto, Erich Gonzales and Maja Salvador
I saw a different side of them on the Smart Making Mega documentary.
I love how the teen queen Kathryn shows her simple and very down to earth personality,
Julia also showed that she is game of everything, Erich, I love what she said on her part that everything has its time and we have our own seasons where we will bloom, While Maja became the life of their trip.

I love how the team executed the photo shoot from hair and makeup from Jing Monis & Robbie Pinera, Wardrobe magic by the hands of Patrick Galang  and my Idol their Photographer Mark Nicdao. I think I am in love with Mark Nicdao and his photos. I have read and saw his name in magazines and credits from my favorite stars but never knew what he looked like (now I know). He made the photos really breathtaking. I love how his crazy idea of putting strings into fabric to make it look flowing (that's a very useful tip). But this would not be possible without the Genius minds of the Fashion Giants in the Industry, the Creative Director Suki Salvador, The founder and CEO Sari Yap and MEGA’s new Editor-In-Chief  Peewee Reyes-Isidro.

Congratulations for an another successful Issue! We'll all be looking forward to your next Fashion adventures and I promise I'll get a copy of this Issue

Fashion Wishlist: GTW by SM

Fashion Blogging for us Girls who doesn't have enough clothes in our wardrobe might be a little hard.
As you notice, I rarely post my OOTD's here and that's because I don't have a good camera and my ootd's quite look "Paulit-ulit na".
To solve that blogging dilemma, I've come up to this idea of creating  my fashion wishlist from different clothing brands I love. I got this idea from different shopping sites that I used to visit for my "Online Window Shopping" and yeah! Even in the internet I keep on drooling for some clothes, wishing someday I'll be able to get it and also share it with you but as for now let's just be happy with what we have.
