My new found Happiness: Lettering & Calligraphy

I hate mondays! yes and who doesn't? It simply just means we need to get back to the daily grind and sometimes I am getting sick with this routine.  I tried to make a solution for my Monday Blues and that is to find a new hobby that I'll look forward doing after work and I bet you It's super effective. Here's how it all started: I've went to this Shoe Bazaar at MOA and as I walk around I saw this booth that sells some Craft stuff  and inks which I have no Idea of using; then I saw another booth that gives watercolor workshop for a fee which made me check it out and see what they're doing. As I go home I realized I wanted to do those things too! There's this "Spark" in my head that made me fell in love with lettering in a  Heartbeat. I started searching for that shop and I found it! But then I realized those tools needed are a bit out of my tight budget considering that I am just a beginner who knows nothing about that craft and another thing workshops costs already a week of my salary. I decided to improvise a little. I looked for cheap brushes and Pen that I could use for practicing lettering, downloaded ebooks and searched for some tuts that could help me. and from those simple things I am learning  step by step. Let me tell you this Blog's History. It all started with my Creative Writing class way back in College, We write Poems like Sonnet, Haiku also Short Stories, Movie Scripts, Essays which were all required to be posted on Blogger for checking, At first I was hesitant to post it because I really doubt works and It all sucks. My Blog became Vacant for almost 2 years not until I checked it and Saw there are people who are viewing or somehow reading whatever the crap I created and That started a Spark on my mind to make a separate blog for my Personal interest which resulted to this. I started to Post and Post until I realized Yeah there is someone dropping by my Blog. I became conscious with how it looks just like how a mother dresses her child, I change layouts, Copy Codes from Someone's website. I knew I wanted MORE so I tried to recall my Basic Photoshop Skills and started decorating my own, It was hard, I always sleep late but at the moment I look at my finished product, I know everything is Worth it and I'm Proud of it No Matter what others may say. As I have always say  Blogging is my Rendezvous, My Place where I could Escape the freaking reality and just be myself. During the time when I was suffering from depression, this became my therapy. Yeah It's really a great therapy especially when I started to be a member of Nuffnang Philippines. Can't believe that It's almost a year since I signed up to become a member. I love being a Nuffnanger. I love how they make people feel special with the exclusive privileges  they give. AXN Announces “Asia’s Got Talent” Judges: David Foster, Melanie C, Anggun and Van Ness Wu

Grammy-award winner David Foster, UK pop sensation and former Spice Girl Melanie C, Indonesian rock icon Anggun and Taiwanese-American pop idol Van Ness Wu have been named as the celebrity judging panel for the season premiere of hit talent search show, “Asia’s Got Talent” on AXN. Anggun, Rock Icon Anggun started singing at seven and by 12 released her first Indonesian studio album, ‘DuniaAkuPunya’, with hit single ‘Mimpi’ recognized as one of the ‘150 Greatest Indonesian Songs of All Time’ by Rolling Stone magazine.  A series of singles and albums followed to make Anggun the biggest Indonesian rock star of the 90s. David Foster, Music Producer David Foster discovered and launched some of the greatest music careers including Michael Bublé, Josh Groban and Celine Dion. Rita's Italian Ice Craze in PH

Free Ice cream for a year?  Hell Yeah, why not?! 

Last January 16, I woke up at 4am just to be at Greenhills, It's the Grand opening day of Rita's Italian Ice and I want to be part of the first 20 people who will get a 1 year supply of their Italian Ice or equivalent to 52 coupons or be at the 21st -30th for half a year free Italian Ice.

Hello 2015!

2014 is almost over and I wouldn't want to end this year without my year-end post. Lots of things happened this year, there a re things you just want to forget and some are to be cherished.  Remember those times when I said I bummed for months? No money, No work and Yeah that was the most hellish days of my life. I tried to find one but it seems like it really wasn't made for me, but those times led me back to my blog. Blogging became my escape to my reality, It became my little space when I wanted peace and silence. It became a therapy to my depression, I love how it feels when someone comments or likes my post, I feel appreciated and loved even I don't know who's reading.  Some People close to me don't understand why am I doing this and It hurts that they can't support me with what I do but those things didn't stop me from writing, This is who I am and this is  how I express myself.  And for all those people who keeps believing and reading this blog, Thank You So Much! You are the reason why I am still writing. Looking forward to a better 2015!

A Taste of Paris in #TeamFrenchVanilla

Paris is every girl's dream destination and you could definitely count me, my family and my friends in. Who could resist to visit this beautiful city that makes every lovers kiss, The City that feasts the eyes with it's Visual Art and Romantic Culture, The City that sounds Sexy even It's hard for us to understand and lastly, makes everyone's stomach starve with it's delightful cuisine, I dream to experience that one day especially shopping around one of the biggest fashion district that has  greatly influenced  our fashion industry. 

Being in Paris would be a great experience but being with my Barkada and Family, Duh! It's Freakingly Awesome. Imagine how we would Pose in our Couture #OOTD's a la Parisian Belle which we could barely wear in Philippines, Eat our #Foodporn-ish food in every restaurant and fulfill our dream to have a cool shot under the famous Eiffel Tower and other Picturesque spots in Paris that will make others want to visit Paris too and also enjoy the lights and feel the silence around the city at night. But for now that seems to be a little hard, Maybe We'll just Work and Dream hard to experience travelling to Paris Or  let's just watch a movie and take a bite and experience the melting goodness that Cadbury French Vanilla gives.
